Looking for Dexter calf

We have a small hobby farm in central WI. I am looking for a Dexter heifer calf to buy soon. Can anyone direct me to where I could find one in WI or one of the neighboring states (MI, MN, IL)? I am not looking for a registered animal, but rather a "pet quality" that will be used for our own personal family use as a milker in the future. Thank you.

You can go to the ADCA website (www.dextercattle.org) and look up breeders in the Membership Directory or on the Pedigree Finder.

I think you'll find better value in a registered heifer because most people buying their offspring will want registered animals.

Give me a call or email when you have a chance. I am the regional director for your area... (WI, IA, MN, ND, SD) anyway, I know of two heifers for sale in Wisconsin that are in the process of being registered. There are also 5 heifers and cows available in Iowa and a couple in Minnesota.
