Extra milk

What do you do with all the extra milk that you get. I know you can get a calf or two, or even get a pig, but i'm just wondering.

Make cheese, sour cream, ice cream, butter, etc You can also freeze milk, but once frozen, it usually won't do well for cheese making.

I raise bull calves, and sell them at weaning age. It is fun to always have babbies around and right now the local dairy farms are giving away the calves so I just have to feed them for 3 months and can sell them for $200!

We have also raised pigs on it as well The chickens love to have a little bit as well.

pig, dog, cat, and chickens all reap the benefit of the extra milk. If soured and poured on the garden, it makes good fertilizer during the off season once tilled in. I've got no scientific proof of it, that's just what granny did when I was a kid.
