Our heifer seemed to be in heat on Friday (2 days early and of course -5 f) So we contacted the AI tech & this is the sire he picked:

Does this look ok for a smallish heifer (hereford/jersey mix, we think)? I seem to have a hard time today deciphering all the codes.

Now to wait the 3 weeks & hope she took!

The bull is rated well for calving ease, and having been around since at least 2000, is one of those tried & true bulls that has a high predictability...I'd have to say your tech picked a nice, all round bull.

I've never looked at the beef bull proofs. But femininity? I can see it now, breed that too much into the breed and end up with a bunch of very girly bulls .
