Has anyone built a cold room for hanging sides???

I was hoping to build one this winter so I can process my own beef and pork year round, our winters will never allow it without one.

cooler

red hogs , i cant belive it would be that hard to do , i would figure that if you made a small but well insulated enclosure it would work , maybe even get a a cooler from sutherlands or your local hardware store , they also sell some type of switch that you can hook up to a cooler wich produces more power to lower the temp father than factory allows , also you can buy the same thing you are looking for from cableas or basspro . i was also thinking that i myself may get a used semi refer that had been wrecked and fix it up for exactly that .. hope i was helpful ..scott

ebay has a few on there site...They dont look like more than 2" foam board with plywood on eaither side. The refer idea is a good one, but they drink fuel fast and are expensive to fix...FIL is a trucker.
