Quick? about leaving calves together
I seperate my dairy cow and her little heifer each morning so I can milk at night, then baby spends the evening warm and cozy with Momma. My question is this. I also have a little bull calf that will be 6 mos old on christmas. The heifer is about 2 mos. I put them in together thinking they would keep each other warm this afternoon. The bull calf "Burgermeister" started pushing her around pretty good until she turned the tables on him. Now she is pushing him around. Daisy (the little heifer) is not so little, she is very solid, no ribs at all, he is only about 4' taller and has a bigger belly (fatty). Do you think they will be ok together?
