Just for fun (pics)
Just wanted to show folks new to calf raising that some breeds of calf can change in appearance with age....Especially Jerseys!!! This little Jersey heifer is only three months old, and by the looks of her she should end up colored like the cow in photo #3. Enjoy the weekend....TJ

Misty is a Dexter/Jersey cross. She was born red, but changed to black before weaning. Here she is as a newborn:
