Miniature cattle for sale , central VA

A starter herd of small cattle, Shorthorn x Dexter. Gentle, friendly, easy to handle. Raised as pets.

Brian, the bull: 18 months old, curly haired, 37" tall. A real gentleman and one of the prettiest little bulls you'll ever see. A real eye catcher.

Annie, the herd leader cow, five years old, has been milked briefly. A real sweetheart.

Annie's 6 month old bull calf.

Annabel, two years old, Annie's daughter.

Annabel's 6 month old bull calf.

All are well formed, with excellent feet and legs. Health assured.

Affordably priced.

These are a neighbors of mine. I bred them and sold them to him a year or two ago. Some of them are by Noelly, the great Dexter bull, and some are by Brenn of Paradise. The oldest cow, Little Orphan Annie, was the first Dexter sized cow I ever owned. She was out of a Yellowbird Dexter cow by a Shorthorn bull. I hand raised her as an orphan. She's as sweet as ever you're likely to meet.

I sold them when I decided to keep only fullblooded registered Dexters. The man who bought them only lives about 5 miles from me and I go visit them every week. His work has now decided to send him to college, for a big promotion and a nice pay raise. He can't take care of them any more.

Whoever gets them will get some nice cattle. The bull is a pure-D pet. He's Brenn's son, and inherited all of Brenn's nice manners.

I've not only switched to fullblooded Dexters, I've managed to establish a herd that is 100% A2 milk producers. I can't go back. As much as I like Annie, Brian and their herd, I just can't go back.

I thought about it.

He's put a really good price on them.
