Have you got the halter and lead on correctly? The section across the nose appears too high causing the part by the eyes to be too close to her eyes. She appears to be uncomfortable from the manner it is fitting.

We fixed it after the pics, though she didn't seem to be uncomfortable. The farmer we bought her from put it on her.

What a nice looking girl! I just love Jerseys. Don't you love those big brown eyes?
Do you milk more than one by hand? I do not mind handmilking the goats but I did not care for it with my cow. I was fortunate enough to have a neighbor in the dairy supply business that was able to make me a milking machine from scrap and junk parts at no cost! I love my neighbors.

I prefer to hand milk. It allows me to keep a better eye on what is going on with their udder, how it feels, etc... I am milking 3 by hand right now (well not right this exact minute..LOL).

She's so pretty! Congrats! I think I need to get myself a milking machine. I prefer hand milking, but have some health issues that cause my muscles and joints to flare up... and for whatever reason, milking one cow seems infinitely harder on them than milking 4 goats.
