Bobbie had a Bull

Yesterday Bobbie presented us with her first bull calf. She had heifers her first two freshenings.

I think it is just hilarious how newborn calves will lay flat with huge eyes and think you can't see them. Pretty good instincts though, I walked past him twice without catching a glimpse.

This calf's full sister from last September. She will be bred in December to get her on the same calving schedule as her mother.

Thanks all. He sure is a stinker. He will be broke to a bottle this week as we are going to let Bobbie raise two foster heifers for a few months. Anyone want a little Jersey bottle bull??
