Lookie what we got!!! :D

My cow, Meg, was supposed to be due in late October or early November, but she stopped producing much milk back in July and then last week started bagging up. The day before yesterday her tail ligaments started softening up a lot, and yesterday she had this little cutie! And it's a heifer!!!

Thanks guys! I am immensely happy that she's a heifer, and of course, all jersey babes are darling lol. I didn't mean to... but I named her Mya lol. I don't know for sure yet if I'm going to keep her, it will depend on the status of things when weaning time comes. I still have goats to sell and we have to see what happens with hay prices. But I SO SO hope that I can keep her!

Aww! I usually stay in the rabbit, poultry, and equine forums, but I am still hoping for a cow sometime. I am glad I decided to venture over here! What a little cutie! Congrats.

Thanks again guys! I hope I get to keep her too. And yes, I've spent enough time in the goat forum to know that I shouldn't post about babies without pics! lol
