cow and bear confrontation

When I heard about this story, I thought of all of you. I didn't see if anyone had posted it on the homesteading family forum, so hopefully it's not a repeat.

If it had been my former cow, Corabelle, she'd have been chasing it to play!!!

I had a cow killed by a black bear about 5 years ago. A bear will attack from any side. This one he attacked head on, then tried to drag her away and bury her. Get Timber wolves seems in cycles depending on the winter. They will kill a ful size cow as well.
