fence

I have dexters and my bulls and cow are really hard on my fence. I am wondering if I should use panels instead? (Like hog panels)

What sort of fencing do you have now? If you don't have a strand or two of electric up I would give that a try - cheaper and easier to install than panels.

They will be just as hard on the panels. They will just rub down the side of it, causing it to bow out. Im with wags, try a couple strands of electic along your current fencing....

The question is why are they hard on the fences?

Cows will push on any fence if they are hungry enough.

travlnusa, that is a great question, the thing is the pasture they're in is full of fresh prairie grass, rye grass and bermuda. The escapies are repeat offenders and are really just the ornery sort, 2 young bulls(partners in crime) and a main squeeze cow, lol.

Electric fence. One zap and they'll stay away.
