calf with goopy eye

one of the girls has a goopy looking eye tonight...she is black, but seems to be having some yucky looking drainage from one eye,..she is 9 months old, and otherwise looks good, on pasture eating well...should this be treated or left to run its course? they were wormed no too long ago and we will worm again in early fall...before she is sold...the other calves with her are all fine...is there something I can spray in her eye? thanks

She probably had a grass type stem jab her eye causing the condition. If she's a manageable pet drop some LA 200 in her eye to accelerate it's repair....TJ

Yes, just use a couple of drops into the troubled eye. This should help heal any damage and also kill any bacteria....

I would just leave her alone, and keep an eye on things. Chances are it will clear up on it's own. But if it gets worse, or the eye starts looking cloudy, then it is time to treat it.
