Ok, my calves are spoiled (added pictures)

After going through 4 bags of the starter grain, we switched to the cheaper all-stock. They didnt seem to mind. Been giving them around two gallons of it a day. Ive been wanting to reduce it down some since most of the posts I read says that they only give a small amount. So, for the last two days I reduced it down a bit. Not too much, just gonna drop it a little at a time. Well, they finish what we give them in about 10 minutes and then stand there at the fence by the feed bucket and just moo like crazy towards the house every time we go outside. They are actually begging for more feed. They have plenty of grass to eat and even some hay in a feeder. They are just spoiled. They are both sure looking healthy though. Very thick and stocky. One of them has litteraly tripled in size since we got them two months ago. But, like I said, SPOILED!

That is too funny. I thought mine were spoiled. They will come in the morning waiting for their grain and wait until around 7 AM then start mooing for me to come out. Mine will stand by the fence mooing for bread. They also will get a upset if I don't change their paddock in the morning. They don't moo but stand in the barnyard for awhile to see if I will make the change. I usually only do it once a week rotating 5 paddocks.

ROFL.. my goats do that too... and it used to be that Spring *cow* would come running when we fed the pigs because she hoped it was for her..

since we rarely give her sweet feed anymore, she often just looks in our direction and notices were there but rarely runs to find us.

We bought these two weaned. They were around 2- 2 1/2 months old when we got them. Been on pasture and grain since we got them. We started them on a 22% calf starter grain and recently switched to the all-stock for the cheaper price. When we go out to feed the pigs they always come up to try and sneak something out of the pig feed buckets while we are opening the gate.

I would keep throughing all the grain you have been to them, dont lower the amount. Are they getting any minerals?
