Calf collars or halters

Well it is time for the babies to learn about leading and tethering. Which do you prefer on your cows? Collars or halters? The cows at the dairy do not wear either so this is new territory for me.

definitely halters/ i run 5 of them behind my 8-n and i use a rope and halters to get them to lead of course at 3 months old they learn quick. i put it in low gear as low as i can go by the time i get back 1.5 miles they are tired and know what the halter is for. collars can come off with what i am doing,
