Tit Squeezin Question

So, I'm out there milking my cow, and I know you're supposed to pinch off the teat with your thumb and pointer finger, then follow with each finger closing around it. BUT, sometimes it feels as though I've not closed off the top and as I work my way down it feels like I'm back flushing a little along the way. If so, will that cause any problems? make her hold her milk up in any way? or just mean I'm sitting with my head in her flank for a longer time? LOL

She stands without even being tied, even after she's done eating, I feel lucky.

I do that now and then too... I dont think it will cause problems, 'back flowing" but I dont really know. Just thought I'd say I think its fairly normal for us hand milkers to do now and then...

As your hands get stronger it should stop happpening so much. Also, maybe adjust where your thumb and pointer finger clamp together. I like to get the teat really close to the base of my thumb (where it meets your hand), then use more of the 'tips' of your fingers to push the milk down and out. Everyone has their own style.
