Anybody want a Dexter heifer calf?

I am so crushed right now.

I washed the calf, I made all of the arrangements for tomorrow, and dh rewired our trailer brakes for the bigger trailer to haul the cows around...

and then I got an email saying "cant buy your calf, family emergency out of town"

Im on the verge of tears... lots of hard work... lots MORE excitement over the new cow... and the whole thing hinged on selling the calf.... the calf who has now decided I am her best friend... she loved the curry comb after her bath and almost went into a trance like state as she enjoyed the scratching and brushing. She LIKES me now! She walks all around the yard with me on a lead... its kinda funny to walk your calf like a dog.

Anyway, Im just really frustrated right now... and sad that I might lose this other cow because I cant deliver the Dexter calf.
