kids' calves

These are pictures of my son's FFA market beef and his breeding heifer. She is Simmental. He just brought her home yesterday.

You always find the Good Ones!
What's the situation in your area for rainfall and grass growth this year?

it is dry. However the town 30 miles east of us has a 92% chance of flooding due to spring run off from the mountains. I couldn't tell you the last moisture we had. Maybe some today.
We don't have grass anyway, even if it did rain. The ground is so barren. We need to get it worked, fertilized and some grass planted.
