Raw milk on Food network

someone sent this to me. I am fowarding it to some of my milk customers

I received and email today from Al Roker Entertainment and figured I
would share it with every one (hope it is ok to post here-I usually
just read here) in case some of you want to share any stories you
might have.

HAS YOUR HEALTH IMPROVED FROM DRINKING RAW MILK?

Are you an advocate for raw milk?

Do you feel that your health has benefited from drinking raw milk?

We want to hear your story!

We are casting individuals whose health has improved from drinking raw
milk for a new series airing on the Food Network this fall.

Casting is underway, so Email a brief description of your story with
your contact information and picture of yourself ASAP to aisha@alroker. com

I got this email too just yesterday. I am not sure if it is legitimate or not.

I know of someone else that got this also. Actually not quite the same wording they wanted them to post flyers about going on the show.
Someone chimed in to call the number on the website for Al Roker's show and ask for this person. Find out if it is legit or not that way.
Frankly the way the country is right now do you really want to go on TV about this? Even though you are certified to sell raw milk in NY, the state is not so supportive of it.

I'd love to debate anyone who is against raw milk, and tear them apart. Those who are against it, haven't a clue why they are, anything they try to back their claims is directly related to the government. Whether it be FDA, Ag and Markets, or the CDC. Yet when research is done, you can find that the claims made by the government are lies, and slanted.

What amuses me is this spring, we had cold/damp weather, the exact same conditions as last year. Yet not a single case has cropped up. Casey Mchugh or however you spell his name, who works at Ag and Markets in Albany, NY, said that is the conditions that support Listeria, etc. Yet this spring, same conditions and nothing. One big difference, no press releases by the FDA this year that was against Raw milk. They released one last year, and a ton of farms all of a sudden had problems. The joke of it all, not a single person became ill. The way it was handled, we should of had hundreds sickened (they treated it like SARS, or some other bad disease).

The questions you can ask anyone who is against raw milk. Ask them, what makes it dangerous? Then ask the sidewinder, what data do you have that substantiates that claim? Many will cite the FDA, etc. Then ask them to show you all of the people sickened by raw milk. In over 30 years, not a single person has died, and a handfull have been sickened. Compare this to prescription drugs, and food all approved by the FDA. There are drugs on the market that can cause organ failure, can cause dependancy (the heart meds, if you stop taking you can have a heart attack).

I laugh at it all, because the stuff sold in the stores I would never touch, I see and hear what goes into that, and it ain't pretty..
