new calf poop question

We have had our first calf born April 17th. He had what looked like dog type poop but yesterday and today I see yellowish nonformed poop. Is this normal? Perhaps mom's milk? I have had babies and they have this mustard type poop for awhile so perhaps it is normal. Tell me this isn't scours.

Mustard yellow manure is totally normal - just like a human baby at first! Good job being so observant!

thank you, thank you. The homesteaders are the best. I feel so much better. Barley was out and about today but really tired out, so he and mom are back in the barn enjoying a quiet evening. Another calf is due at any time. Thank you again.

Always compared it to nacho cheese sauce,myself......wouldn't dip my chips in it though.....but the dogs do find it to be tangy..........
