Cool stinkin halter..

I got a cow size halter at the co-op... and tried putting the can of treats through the middle of the halter so when she stuck her nose in to eat, I could just pull it up.. ROFL

SOOOOO close! but no cigar

Gotta figure out a way to get this halter ON the cow... HMMMMM... I am creative. I'll find a way! but not today.

besides the cows, we got 150 tree seedlings from Kansas Forestry dept... and they need planting asap. Dh has put 25 lilac in the ground already... just 125 more trees to go! yikes!

If you can put your arm around her neck, put the heaviest one in the family on her head to hold her while you all get the halter on her nose, from there it should be OK.

Get yourself one of those adjustable rope halters. The one I have is cotton and fairly soft. It's much easier to get that on the cow first, then tie her and get the one on that she will wear in the pasture. Your new ones look pretty quiet

Whew... FINALLY we got it on her! fits just fine and the tag says "hamilton halters" "cow halter" size just says "cow" on the inside of the halter.

the halter at the bottom of the page... the 'turnout halter' is what we have and I'd guess that Autumn probably has the calf halter.
