Antibiotics in pregnancy

We have a Jersey who is about 1.5 months pregnant. She tested positive for leptosporosis. This could be due to a prior immunization or due to having disease. The treatment is tetracycle 25 mg im 2 times a day. Our vet says this is safe for baby but I want to get a second opinion. Any help from anybody would be appreciated.

It's safe. Definitely a lot safer than lepto.

I think tetracycline is the accepted treatment for lepto. If she is not treated you will likely lose the calf anyway. By the way, handle carefully, Lepto can be transfered to humans.
