Question Grazing Hybrid Pearl Millet?

Has anyone grown Hybrid PearlMillet for Grazing cattle on?

*Seeding rate per acre?
* Soil Temp required for planting?
*Will it grow in low ground that water stands after a hard rain, or does it require well drained high ground?
* How many consecutive days of zero moisture/no rainfall can it withstand?
*Any issues with Bloat, Nitrates, or toxicity?

Any helpful hints appreciated...

30 lbs. per acre

65- 70 degrees.....sudan type temps

I don't think it could stand the low wet type of ground, like bahia grass

Much like bermuda grass, the tops will burn but spring right back with rain

That's the strong point of millet, no worries asscociated with sudan in drought like conditions or right after a frost.

It will grow on some of the poorest land and provide a least a few bites of green, will be sowing some soon for heifer grazing.

Also, no bloat
I have my seed on hand, will plant as soon as the earth temps rise.
