3 Moo package FS in SW KS {pic heavy}

I've been waffling with this decision for several months now. Those of you who are critter collectors will know what I'm suffering from! I have a house in town that I really need to get repaired so I can move in. (I'm currently half-living in two different houses which means I have *stuff* spread EVERYWHERE! and no place that qualifies as 'home'.) I have too many critters that are consuming my precious income. As a result, I've finally decided that I'm selling off a lot of my critters for the time being and am going to put the house on project status and will start back with the animals after that's finished.

The first cow, Molly, was the cow I'd listed before. She's 5 this year and should be bred to an angus bull to calve in June. I've not confirmed this - but I am going to ask my farmer-friend if he'll come preg-check her for me. Not sure if he'll do it without a chute - so we'll have to see what he says. I took her to his farm after noticing signs of heat and he saw her being worked by his bulls so I am confident she is bred but I cannot guarantee it at this point in time. Molly is halter trained but is an alpha cow so she is not going to be a good choice for the timid or first time cow owners unless you are capable of being the boss. She's not mean or wild and has not kicked since I've owned her, but she'll push you out of the way if she wants something or you're in her way. This is why I suggest a knowledgeable owner or someone who's capable of pushing her right back! Molly peaked at 6 gallons during her last lactation. She has been hand-milked by a 11 or 12 year old girl. I don't believe she's ever been machine milked. She's a nice large girl and was equal in size to the beefies that she ran with while at the bulls. She weighed 820 last fall when I brought her home. Molly's part in the package is $1500.

Here are photos of Molly shortly after coming.

The second cow is a cull from an Amish dairy. She was culled as an older cow because she had high somatic cells in one quarter (front, can't recall right or left). I was advised against breeding her but that could simply be because she is a registered cow and they don't want their genetics being sold for cull prices. Aster was bought to raise calves for me and when I got her home I couldn't milk her very easily so I turned her out with the 4 calves I had. She took to them immediately and I did not have to feed a single bottle after bringing her home. She is an outstanding mother and was THE perfect cow for what I wanted. The decision as to whether to breed her again or not would be entirely up to the new owner, I was planning on having her bred in June. I recently pulled the 3rd moo in this series off of her to wean him so she's more or less dry. She's been on cane (feed) lately so she's not in as good of condition as I would have liked, but with spring pasture I anticipate she'll rebound greatly. Aster is not halter broke but is super, super calm. Her part in this equation is $250. This is Aster shortly after bringing her home.

(The horse is for sale too if you promise not to tell my niece! LOL)

The third and final part of this package is what was my adorable little hellion bull calf. I bought him solely because of his spots and because the little turd had a lot of sass at the dairy the last time I went to pick up calves for a few other buyers. He took off racing around the entire farm when he was brought of the barn and he was full of it! I can't pass up a cutie like that. He was going to be Aster & Molly's beau this next year. He is probably still small enough to be banded if desired. I have not banded him. He was raised on Aster and was recently separated. Would not be totally weaned at this point but I don't think he was really pulling much milk from her. I can get the date of his birth but I believe it was in November. He has not been disbudded, unfortunately. I just don't have the help I need to do it. The only reason I'm selling him is because without the other two - I don't need him! His part in this equation is $250, too.

Here are recent photos.

I don't really have a name for this guy. He came from another Amish dairy so he is from registered stock however he does not have papers. I do not believe that he is related to Aster in any way as the dairy owners, while brothers, do operate separate ventures.

The remaining 3 calves are planned for freezer camp in December!

Now for the details. I will sell these three for the first $2000 PIF. I will sell them as a package first, but might break them up later if needed. I will accept cash or a USPS money order. I will hold for a buyer with $500 down payment (Paypal an option with the down payment only) with pickup and payment in full made within 30 days. After 15 days the down payment becomes non-refundable. I do this simply because I can't afford to hold on to them forever and cause other potential buyers to go elsewhere only to have someone back out at the last minute so please, serious inquiries only. Email or PM with questions!
