Bull calf age of maturity

What is the youngest that you have heard of a bull calf being able to breed a cow?

TIA

That totally depends on the breed of the bull, my Dexters are ready and willing to work at 7 and 8 months, and will definitly settle a cow when they are a year old.

I agree with copperhead. Depends on the breed and willingness to work. "where's there's a will, there's a way!" I've seen some of my MS bulls that are 8 months trying to breed a cow. They're just not tall enough to get it done yet.

Thanks for the answers. I have been surprised at how young a ram lamb can settle a ewe and so was wondering about cattle.
