Very stupid and rudimentary dairy cow question...

Does a cow stay in milk indefinitely if fed well and milked or do they need to be dryed off and bred every few years? Sorry.. just really do not know..

no they will eventually dry up. some sooner than others. Some may stay fresh over a year.

A cow will need to be bred periodically, she will need to be dried up apx 2 months before calving to allow for a month to rebag ect. Gestation is 9 months.
