Sick calf

Brought 3 home from auction (I know don't buy from auction but just buying a couple for freezer) they are Holsteen bulls about 1-3 weeks old, 40-60 lbs. Two are doing great although they all had yellow diarrhea but in 3 day has turned brownish with more substance but the 3d, the sick one is very lathargic, can't stand even though tries and has stopped taking the bottle. We have given electrolytes, pepbo and giving them goat milk mixed with calf manna 2 qts feeding twice a day. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like he needs a shot of antibiotics. We use Excede, but LA-200 would work if you have it on hand. Are you force-feeding him? He needs food in his belly.

Other than that, keep doing what you're doing - milk, pepto, & electrolytes. You might also want to crush up 2 imodium and put in his bottle as well.
