What do you feed?

If you feed anything besides hay/pasture what do you feed? Also what are you feeding? (Beef or dairy ect)

My beef cows eat alfalfa, prairie hay, brome hay, millet hay, triticale, sudex, wheat straw, and oat hay. All ground in a tub grinder and mixed .

We feed alfalfa hay either 1st or 2nd crop during the winter along with a 14% grain mix from the feed mill. Younger animals will get a 16% mix and the calf starter is 18%.
We feed this to our holstein steers we raise for beef as well as any heifers we can pick up cheap as calves in the winter and grow on pasture during the summer.

Hay and sweet feed as a treat. In the past we have fed them peanut hay, and they love it. Look at us funny when we put them back on the regular stuff.
