Selling out what I may keep

I had a offer from a friend to buy most of my cows in one lot-
So, I am lucky enough to get my money back and
have a friend get my herd.
I have been trying to figure out
who to keep.
I want to make some kind of income from my cows.
I have two registered Jerseys- one tiny girl and one flashy lady-
So i will keep those two- and we have 4 very well bred-
show brown Swiss- so we will keep those also and hope to
sell 4-H and show BS cows. I think I made a good choice.
I may also keep on grade- Jersey cow. I hope with the
Jersey to raise friendly hand milkers for family milkers.
I am also keeping 2 jersey calves- and BREAKING NEWS!
Our big show BS had a hifer calf yesterday!!!!!!!!
She is a keeper too.......

So even though It is a transition I feel a good choice.
There is my husband and I and 3 hard working daughters
and we are just working day and night.

Keeping 9 isn't exactly "selling out" is it? But I do know what you mean, it's hard to part with them, sometimes almost like selling family members.

I am selling 10- all are sold except A holstein due in July- 1st timer.
Holstein/jersey calf, Highlander Jersey I have two people coming to look.
My friend is buying 6. and we just had a few new calves.
once those are gone- I may have to weed out a few more.
But yes, 65284- It is very hard.
