Hes a she "my bad"

I had originally posted that my jersey had a bull calf yesterday a.m.. Well on closer inspection I discovered that she is indeed a she. She doesn't look anything like the bull calf that was born to the beef cow last week.

Good for me,

her name has been changed from " just passing through" to Jane.
As in "I get to stay".

we were sold a 3 month old 'steer" at an auction...took us months before we noticed that it was a she...so we did rather well with that purchase...

cjb I wish with all my heart that you had a heifer. With all you have been through you need some good news.

Hope you stay with the milking when its all said and done it can be a very enjoyable experience.
