blood from vulva

It's not a bloody discharge, it is bright red fresh blood. Her vulva is also puffy. I read about heat cycles and didn't find anything talking about blood. I don't know if she is in heat. She is not bred. She is about 20 months old. Acting normal. I didn't get a temp. I went out to feed and found this. She was trying to eat my boots, so I would say she isn't off food.

I would say it's probably post heat bloody show. You will see it 2 days after a cow is in heat. If you are looking to get her bred I would mark down Friday as a day that she was probably in heat and watch her closely 18 to 24 days from then.

The best way to find a heat! Now next month you can get her bred. go back 2 days add 21 days.
