Really starting to like these calves!!

I sure don't know if I'm gonna be able to put these guys in the freezer next year, lol. I just love being out there with them, watching them. They are so friendly, for now, anyways. Unless they become mean or crazy or something, its gonna be rough, LOL.
I saw the bull trying to mount the freemartin this morning. I really need to get down there with the banding tool. Never done it before, looks pretty easy. Just need the time. They are almost 4 months old now.

About 14 weeks ago you possibly could have handled the task by yourself.

no, no cdt. All I have read on this forum, alot seem to agree, no need for it, especially in winter, no flies and all. You think I should use it?

Kathy, guaranteed your friendship will end as they get bigger. They will become eating machines and you realize their purpose in life,,FOOD. Banding an animal that big and by yourself is nearly impossible....You need to do it now with lots of strong human help. If not the VET or an experienced cattleman will have to cut them out.
Great to hear from you...
