Smoke Detector in Barn problems

I have a little 12x40 stall barn, I put a smoke detector up in it & every morning before I let the cows out the smoke detector goes off. It is not a carbon/smoke combo just a smoke detector.
Does it keep going off from the cold or moisture?
What do you guys use in your barns that is working? Seems like clockwork every day that this one goes off at 5:45am. It is battery operated & I have changed the batteries 3 times in the past 2 months so the batteries are good in it. I don't want to take it down but it drives me nuts that it keeps going off.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

I had a smoke detector in my mobile home that would go off when the temps dropped below a certain point. In my apartment, high moisture set off the battery powered smoke detector (no long showers with the bathroom door open!!! )

Also, dust will set off smoke detectors-- is there a pssibility that a bird or something else is causing a small 'duststorm' at that time of the day?

Hi Terry, thank you.
There is definitely no dust in the barn only has the 2 calfs, 1 cow & 1 goat. No birds or anything else in there. The floor is crused stone but its totally frozen with a light layer of hay that is clean out every night. The windows do have frozen moisture on them but no dust anywhere. There is no heat in there. No fans or anything like that.
