New calf, I'm clueless

ok eveyone laugh real good at the cluless cow owner, but i really can't tell if the new calf is a bull or heifer!!! I was able to distract Zoey for a whole 2 seconds to check the baby, and i saw what i thought was a scrotum, but then when i got a better, 3second look, there are four pink teats. Sooooo, what do i have ( and please be gentle, this is my first calving!)

Bull calves do have 2 teats, very small ones. Look at the middle of the underbelly, is there a few strands of long hair? The hair hides the action figure on a bull.

Yes, I tried that approach too, but the tail was tucked and mamma was charging....

Tilly, they all have four teats. Forget about the teats, does the animal pee from the butt area or under the belly. Just look at it's rear it should be obvious...enjoy your new calf.

If Zoey is a cow then compare the calf's rear to the cows...
