So much for the 3X...

Okay, it lasted a month. Dyslexic Dairyman and I agree, that 9pm shift totally sucked. Its not the going out and working that hurts, but the time between supper and milking. You WANT to lay down and read a book then go to sleep, NOT get your boots back on and go back outside...Also, the cows just didn't come up 'that' much to warrant the extra trouble. But it was an interesting experiment, while it lasted.At least the recent fresheners all benefitted from it.

I milk 4X, but three of them are done by the calves.

I would imagine 3X on many cows could get tiresome.

Argh! Just twice a day is excruciating enough. I couldn't imagine trying it a 3rd time. But you tried it and at least now you know.
