Dexters with other cattle.....

Can you mix Dexters with other cows? I am wondering with their small size if they can "hold their own" in a herd?

No problem

We've got Dexters, horned and de-horned with de-horned Dutch belted (which are three times the Dexters size), a Jersey cow, and a horned Scotch Highland. The big ol' horns on Shaggy Maggie don't seem to bother anyone. They establish a herd order, and after their rituals, welcome new cows and calves into the herd.

I would agree, especially if the Dexters have horns and the others don't, it shouldn't be a problem.
