Just in case you'd like to know what kind of cattle: the calf in question is a 3/4 Dexter, 1/4 Angus, the Bull is Dexter.
I will have the Vet check the cows for pregnancy when appropriate. Should I call him now to ask about if/what to do about the calf?

Just to be on the safe side, you might want to give her a shot of Lutalyse/Estrumate to abort her if she did breed. If you do it in the right timeframe, it should cause her no problems, and she will just cycle again. I believe you have to wait at least a week, but give your vet a call, he will know better than I.
