dutch belted/angus

I have an opportunity to buy a couple of dutch belted/angus cross heifers in the spring. I'm totally new to cattle. Any thoughts?

I'd snap them up, but then again I'm interested in dutch belteds. If you get them PLEASE breed to dutch belted bulls. It is a very rare breed and within a few generations they will be pure enough to register as dutch belted. DBs are a dairy breed and one of these heifers would make a good family milk cow.

Are they actual Dutch Belts which are a dairy breed or are they belted galloways which are a beef breed? There might be another belted beef breed but anyway they are a seperate breed from a Dutch Belt. Do they have nice belts? Either way I'm sure that breed combo would make a good cow.

I have two Dutch Belt/Holstein crosses. Even though they are crossed with Holstein they are very small and fine framed. They are decieveing though. Even though they are small and fine framed they are very tough little cows. They compete at the feed bunk with my Ayrshires and Holstein crosses. I've got one girl in the milk string who is only around 900 lbs. She is such a great little cow that I want to breed some more Dutch Belts.
