Whoo Hoo....Heifer!

We bought the cow as due June 23rd........LOL. It was worth the wait. Nice big heifer calf. Momma is 1/2 Holstein, 1/2 Shorthorn, and all devil. Daddy is Brown Swiss. Of course she picked the first rainy day in 2 months to calve.

Not looking forward to milking the old witch, but milked she will get. I think I will get a bull calf and milk her once a cay and let the calves have her the rest of the time.

Are you near the So. Dakota border? My sister said this morning she'd had 2 inches of rain; she's near Milbank S.D. on the Minn border.

No, closer to the cheeseheads, but the whole southern half of the state is wet today. Not enough here but we will take what we can get.

holy buckets...enough folks think California is its own country (and might want to build a fence around us to keep us all inside) that I forgot we have state LINES...I guess now you want to tell me no man is an island, either.

If you folks will go online to your own State's constitutions, you'll find that your State's boundaries are clearly delineated therein. There are NO states whatever without the boundaries called out. If a nation or state has no borders, it ceases to exist in the physical sense. [To bring this issue home to the personal level, all you have to do is to think about your very OWN property boundaries, and trespass laws. Now, how do you feel about it?]

Also, each of the original British colonies that became States of the Union did consider themselves as separate countries/states before the War for Independence OR Secession from Great Britain.

Remember, it is a union ONLY by the consent of the governed. [God would have it no other way. Does He force you to Heaven?]

NWO gang has the U.S. divided into ten regions now...consider your ZIP Code numbers beginning 0 through 9? There's also something called the "North American Union" being created by the "Security and Prosperity Partnership," www.spp.gov, an extra-legal/governmental body that's bringing all this to the several States of the Union, some of which are saying "NO." There's currency called "the Amero" on the horizon as well. It'll be an EU-type arrangement coming to our continent soon, unless WE, THE PEOPLE rise up to say "NO!"

"[I]f the public are bound to yield obedience to laws to which they cannot give their approbation, they are slaves to those who make such laws and enforce them." – Candidus

In the U.S. of A., we call it "Consent of the governed."

Check out this site for more about that subject...how the jury system is supposed to be the final check on errant lawmaking/regulation promulgation by our elected and appointed public servants...
