Red face Trivia Question for all y'all

Approximately how long will it take for a plastic bag from the produce section of a supermarket to pass through the digestive system of an approximately 3 month old dairy cross bull calf. My vet is guessing "a relatively quick trip" as long as nothing gets "stopped". Yesterday, the produce lady dropped off our wonderful bounty of greens and fruit. I THOUGHT I'd been really careful before dumping the lettuce into the pasture. However, as I was sorting through watermelons, I saw one of the calves with a plastic bag hanging out of his mouth. I raced into the pen, but it was the wild calf and he proceeded to eat the bag as I chased him around. So far, nothing. My 7 year old is on hourly poo patrol, as I've promised her a $5.00 bill if she can find the plastic bag when it "comes out". Calf is absolutely fine so far...we're at 24 hours and counting.

My little bull never passed the plastic he ate. It settled in his rumen.

Have had it take 3 days to pass a wal-mart bag. We had almost quit looking for it... a 5 mo. old jersey heifer calf. Keep looking, if he hasn't died in 24 hours....hopefully he will be just fine!

We are about 38 hours post eating; what a knucklehead...both of us. I will be much more careful next time; my goats have never been so silly...this guy seems to be eating and pooping just fine, but no bag yet.

My folks had a bottle calf get out and wander into the garage. Mom happened to open the door just in time to see one of those yellow rubber gloves she wore when scrubbing floors go down the hatch. They watched for a couple of days for him to pass it but never found it. He was fine.

I was working on the calf pen awhile back.
Took my watch off and laid down,
one of the calves started licking it
and then swallowed it.

I sat there for an hour for him to pass the time!
