New Calf today

Beth delivered her third (!) heifer during the night. Beautiful litter critter, red like her mom.

No name yet, I think the year letter is U. Taking suggestions for a name.
PS: Registered Highland Cattle

"Fair"- the other 4 letter F word." This epiphany came after almost 10 days straight at our county fair.

Most registries designate a letter each year for naming animals born during that year. Last year was T, so this year should be U, but they sometimes skip a letter for various reasons.
We've narrowed it down to either Ukiah which means "deep valley" or Ulani which is "cheerful one".
