Hay question

HI

A farmer not far from us is going to be doing bales of dry hay in the larger square bales appr. size 3x4x6

question is how many small bales would be in one of these bales,

i asked the farmer but this is his first year with this baler and really had no idea

any imput would be great,

I know a 3x4x8 weighs right at 1000 pounds, that's what I buy when I need hay. They make them eight feet long so that they fit on a truck better.

i am confused i thought they only made 3 x 3 x 8..or 4 x 4 x 8 .. never heard of a 3 x 4x 8 baler tjm
