Our Nurse Cow and her baby

She FINALLY calved!! Here she is when we brought her in from the far end of the pasture, and also some pics of her own baby. She now has 3 calves on her, and we are still bottle feeding 2.

Three calves on one cow. That is quite a load.

Do you have her on a hot dairy ration?

Nope, Grass and Alfalfa pasture. She raised 3 last year on the same stuff. Total weaned weight was 1265 and she was a 2 year old. Pretty happy with her.
