We got our cow!

This is Buttercup, she is due June 3rd. We actually got her March 10th but I'm slow about getting pictures.
We got her from tcboweevil here on the board
My son says she's too fat, what do ya'll think?

This is to be a first calf heifer?

She doesn't look too fat to me. She does look good though, and well fed.

Yes, she's 2 and this will be her first calf.
She is on pasture and a little hay, I do give her a tiny bit of corn, oat, and barley mix 2 times a day so I can brush her and get her used to being messed with before I start to milk.
As you can tell by the goat in the background (she's nursing twins and milking 1/2 gallon OAD) everything around here is "healthy" including the human animals! Must be in the water....LOL

well i don't know about the cow, but that goat looks like it could roll around like bowling ball.... lol

um well her torso compared to her fine thin legs seems a bit chubby lol

but she is expecting so hey who cares

She does look beautiful

I am so glad you have given Buttercup a grand home. She is so happy. I am glad she is halter broke and following you around. Isn't she just sweet? Her udder looks beautiful. No edema or anything. SO I don't think you are over feeding her. I hope you are continually blessed. Please share pictures often. Thanks so much.
