Advice needed on heifer calving

My question is this: I've got a two year old Jersey\holstein cross heifer that is bred to a Jersey bull. Her due date was March 10th. On Sunday the 11th, I noticed her laying down and trying to push. I told the wife I wouldn't be going to evening church services, I would be possibly assisting a heifer to calve. At 4am Monday morning, after pushing a couple of times and then walking around for a while, I palpated her to find that her cervix isn't dialated at all. I can feel a calf's nose and two front feet in place right at the cervix, but no dialation. Yesterday evening after second guessing my diagnosis a few times, I called the vet. (figuring he was going to tell me I had a dead calf and a C-section was necessary). He palped her and said, " She's not dialated, don't worry, she'll calve when she's ready."
I'm sure she's in some type of labor. Her bag is leaking milk from all four quarters and she's standing still most of the time. It's only when she's laying down that she trys to push. I'm concerned that she could possibly prolapse. This has been going on for three full days now. What would you guys do? (get another vet! Induce labor with meds? )

Have a cup of De-Caf and learn solve the Rubic's Cube. She'll do whatever she does whenever she does it, then you can worry or sigh as the situation warrants.
