TN Farmers' Co-op Article on Your's Truly

Unless you have high speed the issue takes a VERY long time to download. It is the March 07 issue:

If your on dialup, or any connection its best to right click the link, click "Save as" Or "Save target as". Save it to your C drive, then when its downloaded, go to your C drive, and click on the file. With "save as", you will see how much of the file is downloaded, and what is left.

For those who can't open it conveniently. I'm actually the cover boy with my leaning on my anvil outside. Story is on how I have created a part-time business on making blacksmithing tools, horseshoe decor items and such with sales over eBay. Not mentioned is I also make various fireplace pokers and whole hog roasting spits.

The writer was here for about two hours and must have taken well over 100 photographs with a very high tech camera. In reading the article obviously she had a tape recorder on as she got what I said pretty well word-for-word. She obviously got straight As in creative writing classes. Boy, was it cold that day.

Here is another article on me:

Good article. I liked how you said blacksmithing is like everything your mother told you not to do.

Got to read it in hard copy yesterday. Very well written article and not a sales pitch as their articles usually are. You've done very well Ken. Congratulations. Loved the fireplace tools and happen to be in the market for a set myself so I'll check em out on ebay.

The 910 is about 700 acres of woods in the Green Belt Program (managed forestry) and the rest is predominately agricultural zoned. Property taxes are about $2.25 per acre.

Thumbs up Cool Article!

I got the hard copy earlier this week. I really enjoyed the article and it is COOL to "meet" you here. Did you read the article on the Scudders? Mr. Tony was an awsome person and his sons are as nice and helpful as anyone could be. They've given a "newbie" like me plenty of great advice.

On another note, do you know anyone near here that milks Highland cattle? My farm is perfect for them, but I really need a milk cow. If you know of anyone that has an older cow they want to get rid of, please let me know. Thanks in advance,

Cindy
