Dear Haggis

Although you and I tend to disagree often times about, what else, Dexter cattle!! I just wanted to wish you happy birthday. AND, to let you know I have a dog named Haggis. He's a 2 yr. old Border Collie I'm hoping works out for sheepdog herding. And get this, he was born on MY birthday, ...go figure!

so, from someone standing on the opposite side of the fence as you, here's wishing you a Happy Birthday! Maybe you can wish for a Dexter when you blow out the candles on your cake???? I know I would.... lol

Thanks for the Happy Birthday wishes.

Your bonnie Collie has a fine and noble name, though I dare say s/he has more energy than I do; they are a highstrung and glorious breed.

I have no issue with Dexters beyond the contradictory and virtually unsubstantiated "averages" given for the breed. I tend to obsess over facts and numbers, and when all does not add up it drives me nuts. When I was in college on of my Professors used to have me teach a class for him along and along, and he would always pick some terribly obscure topic, and he did this knowing that I would not stop until I had read, reasearched, and found every shred of information on the subject, then he would ask for copy of my notes and sources. But I might just wish for a Dexter anyway... :baby04:

HAPPIEST OF BIRTHDAYS, HAGGIS!!! You sure have a quiver full of grandchildren!!! I'm trusting I was looking at a couple of dear Emily's babes. God has obviously richly blessed you already... may this be one more year of being lavished on by Him.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes.

Emily's children are: Culloden Jamie, the girl standing on the right of picture (my left in the photo), Ian Hamish, the little boy down in front with glasses, and Eldrid Kincaid, the toddler in the middle with the big smile on his face.
