Ellie Moo and Lizzy

Here it what they got for Thanksgiving! A new shelter and pen. Still needs some work, but they seem to enjoy it.

Hooray!

That looks nice and cozy.

They really do like like they're pals, don't they. I'm glad you found a good friend for Ellie Moo.

They do get along pretty good. Lizzy can be a little pushy at times, but she puts up with Ellie running into her. I do have to tie Lizzy when I feed grain because she will steal Ellies. But other than that they are good buds. They sleep together and lick and rub on each other. I think they have explored every inch of their new pen. When I put them in it, I led Ellie around and showed her where the water and stall where. And led her around the perimiter a couple of times. Ellie is having no trouble finding the stall!! They are getting good use out of it.

What a great set up!!! I think you'd have a best sellers children's book if you wrote Ellie Moo's story and illustrated it with photographs. You truly have been given blessings beyond compare (even with all the work those blessings require!).
