Southern Ohio info?
My husband and I are interested in getting a jersey heifer next year and are looking for people in the area to meet and learn from. Friends of my mom's growing up had milk cows but it was a commercial operation, so while I'm well versed in washing udders and hooking them up to a machine, I've never hand-milked a cow which is what we're looking to do.
Is there anyone around here who would be able to share some knowledge to a couple of newbies?
