Just wondering

I may stay where I am in AR and get a little land 4 miles away as pasture, So do you think it would be to hard to lead a cow by hand over 4 miles to a new pasture on occasion? would they balk at going that distance?

Won't hurt cow, but for sake of your sanity & health, get stock trailer

Take it from me I have experience in this :baby04:
1) Early morning is good.
2) Late evening is good.
3) In between is not good unless you want to wait under every tree for half an hour while she rests.
4) Mow the roadside to eliminate tasty clover before your walk.
5) No loose dogs.
6) She is halter trained and leads well.
7) Laugh along with your neighbors as they drive by
8) Better yet, take Up North's advice

We've only gone half mile and she likes to rest and eat clover :baby04:

I know if it were me that is a no brainer. Where is my trailer at now?

Thanks for your replies.
I have a stock trailer just needs a new door, PLenty of folks have tried to buy it while i was gone. I dont really know if I will want to work to pay for a truck to haul the trailer, I will see and be sure to keep you all updated on occasion.
